The lundehund is a Norwegian dog breed, and because of this, the Norwegian Lundehund Club is responsible for the development of the breed standard internationally.
The Norwegian Lundehund Club have developed a breeding specific strategy (RAS - an acronyme for "Rasespesifikk Avls-Strategi"), that currently only exists in Norwegian. It was approved by Norsk Kennel Klub (the Norwegian national partner club of the FCI) in January 2014 and is valid until December 2018.
We have translated parts of the breeding specific strategy to English. The summarized plan of action is also translated, included below on this page.
